Description
Notebook Mushrooms A5 from Gullers Trading has beautifully illustrated mushrooms on the cover and is a notebook that we sell for the benefit of SOS Children’s Villages. The format is A5 measuring 148 x 210 mm. The spiral notebook has color printing on both front and back cover and contains 40 lined pages (i.e. 80 double-sided writing pages). The drawings on the cover of the notebook are made by the Swedish botanist and mycologist Elias Magnus Fries. In 1860, Fries published the book “Sweden’s edible and poisonous mushrooms” and the illustrations have been taken from that book. You will find mushrooms such as:
Charbonnier
Cloud funnel
Rhodocybe popinalis
Conifer Tuft
and a few more mushrooms.
However, we would advise against relying on the pictures to determine whether mushrooms you find in the forest are edible or not. It’s better to ask an expert. In any case, the pictures are beautiful and the book supports a good cause: Helping children in war and disaster areas.
Quality & Certificates
The cover is printed on a 400gr yellow-toned Swedish premium paper. The book has the convenient A5 format and lined pages, it is made in Sweden with Swedish paper and it is of course eco-labeled with both the Nordic Swan and FSC.
