Moose Butter Knife Ash Wood from Skandinavisk Hemslöjd. The butterknife is made of heat treated ash wood. It has a laser cut out moose and measures 17 cm. Thermowood is timber that has been dried at a very high temperature (190 degrees) Such a drying process changes the properties of the wood. The main advantages are that it becomes virtually dimensionally stable and absorbs very little water after the heat treatment, giving it high rot resistance and making the products more dishwasher safe.
