Description
Fish Butter Knife Ash Wood from Skandinavisk Hemslöjd. The butterknife is made of heat treated ash wood. It has a laser cut out fish and measures 17 cm. Thermowood is timber that has been dried at a very high temperature (190 degrees) Such a drying process changes the properties of the wood. The main advantages are that it becomes virtually dimensionally stable and absorbs very little water after the heat treatment, giving it high rot resistance and making the products more dishwasher safe.

I gave my actual home address but for some unknown reason it was sent to a DPD drop point a significant distance from my house and being large package was very awkward to collect. No idea why this happened but it was extremely inconvenient. The tracking number I was issued never worked for me, and looking at it now I can see it featured the drop point Eircode instead of mine. Again, no idea why.
