About the Perky Chick

The domesticated chicken descends from red junglefowl, which is the ancestor of all domestic chicken breeds. Chickens are active animals with an intense curiosity that drives them to explore their surroundings. Scratching, pecking, and dust bathing are ingrained in their nature. Hens are intelligent and exhibit individual and characteristic behaviors. These feathered creatures show impressive care towards their chicks. The hen incubates her eggs for three weeks, after which the eggs hatch and transform into petite, lively chicks.

The perky chick is alert and carefully observes its surroundings before resuming its food search.
