Certificated and Traceable Down “Track my Down”
Down is a fantastic insulation and is a by product from the food industry.
With Track My Down from Allied Feather + Down, you can better understand the premium down products keeping you warm. It’s important to know where your down has come from and to be assured that it has been responsibly sourced.
The system tracks every cluster of down from the farms through shipping, production, blending and all the way to the factory.
All Down from Allied Feather+Down, is RDS and Bluesign certificated. With Track My Down, you can see exactly what makes the down inside your garment unique – from verified fill powers that exceed what is claimed to cleanliness, content analysis, place of origin and certificates. Every product has a unique ID number/QR code.

Care instructions
Down Jackets
When you first try on your new down jacket, allow the garment to hang for a while so that the down feathers can expand. Our lightweight down jackets are constructed with very fine feathers placed between the outer fabric and lining. Therefore, some feathers may occasionally escape. This cannot be completely avoided. If you happen to get a small hole in your garment, please contact us, and we will send you a repair patch. Do not wash unnecessarily, air instead and spot clean.
When washing, wash your jacket at 30 degrees °C on a program for down jackets or duvets. Make sure to close all zippers. Tumble dry on low heat with 2-3 soft, clean tennis balls until the garment is completely dry. This may take some time.
Additional care instructions for Jämtland & Kiruna: This product need a big dryer, so we recommend only wash at a professional cleaner, wash separately, do not use fabric softener, use enzyme free detergent, apply fluorocarbon free impregnation after wash.
When washing down items, we recommend using a biodegradable and fluorocarbon-free detergent specially formulated for down products. Do not use fabric softener.
- Machine wash in cold water.
- Do not bleach.
- Do not iron.
- Tumble dry on low heat with 2-3 clean tennis balls.
- Wash separately.
- Do not hang dry in direct sunlight or near hot surfaces.
- Do not dry clean.
